Play Presidential BINGO! What Will President Trump say about Women and Families in His First Congressional Address?

Unlike past presidents, President Donald J. Trump has no policy track record we can use as a road map for how he will govern. This makes his upcoming first formal congressional address that much more important.
Every year the president uses the State of the Union address to lay out his agenda to Congress and identify his administration’s priorities and proposals. Since Trump will have been in office for only 40 days, he won’t refer to his speech as an official State of the Union, but he will lay out priorities and clarify his policy agenda. This year, we’ll be listening for explanation of the president’s flurry of executive orders as well as other plans he may have for issues affecting women and their families going forward. We’ll also pay attention to what is glaringly left out.
The first address is set for Tuesday, February 28, at 9 p.m. ET, and we ask you to help us hold the president accountable through a friendly game of bingo.
We’ve created bingo cards with some of the key words women and girls want to hear from Trump in his first year as president. Simply print out a card below, grab your favorite marker, and you’re ready to play. No printer? No problem. You can also play online with our interactive bingo board. Heighten the fun by organizing a watch party with your local AAUW branch or get together with your chapter of the Younger Women’s Task Force! Snacks are optional but highly encouraged.

By the end of the night, we may have some bingo winners but also a sense of whether Trump’s agenda for 2017 will help women and girls succeed. Good luck to us all!
