AAUW Unveils Dynamic Speaker Lineup for Women’s Student Leadership Conference
WHO:
Melissa Harris-Perry, Ph.D., a writer, professor, and political commentator, will deliver the keynote address at the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) on Friday, June 2.
Danielle Feinberg, the director of photography for lighting at Pixar; Amanda Nguyen, the president and founder of Rise; Rosie Rios, the 43rd treasurer of the United States; and Crystal Valentine, a writer and poet, are this year’s Women of Distinction awardees in recognition of their distinguished accomplishments. They will deliver remarks on Thursday, June 1.
Yoga teacher and body positive advocate Jessamyn Stanley will lead a meditation session followed by a sale for her new book, Every Body Yoga, on Saturday, June 3.
